Garden Club of Brick will meet at 7 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center, Herbertsville Road. There will be several reports given and new members are always welcome. Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold their fifth annual Meet the Mayor and Wine Tasting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Lobster Shanty, Channel Drive. Admission is free. For reservations and information, call 732-899-8076.

First Baptist Church of Laurelton will hold a yard sale from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sale will be rain or shine at the church, Route 88 East. Sale will benefit the church.

Ancient Order of Hibernians will have their Annual Irish Festival at Veterans' Park in Berkeley Township from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. As is the custom, Msgr. Sean Flynn, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Toms River, will celebrate a Mass in Gaelic at 9 a.m. at the main pavilion.

Downtown Toms River will host the 19th Annual NJ State Chili and Salsa Cook-Off, the only International Chili Society (ICS) state-level sanctioned chili competition at the Jersey Shore, will heat up Washington Street in downtown Toms River from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

Acoustic Musician's Guild is hosting a free benefit concert from 1 to 5 p.m., to raise money for the Valerie Fund Center for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders. The music benefit will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Atonement Lutheran Church Hall, 308 First Avenue, at the corner of Heck Street in Asbury Park.
