Treating Yourself To A Makeover For The Lover's Holiday
By Lauren Puglisi

Women with big Valentine's Day plans may be spending their time leading up to the big day receiving some good oldfashioned pampering. After all, what better way to help themselves feel radiant when out on the town for the night than a deluxe makeover?

After choosing the perfect outfit, the next step is to find a matching hairstyle and massage treatment that will be sure to make any woman confident and relaxed this February 14.

Megan Lally, an employee at Hand & Stone Massage Spa in Toms River, said couple massages are very popular on Valentine's Day.

"We have added two rooms in this location that are fully devoted to couples that wish to get massages along side of one another," Lally said.

After you're relaxed and ready for a night on the town, it comes time to fuss about the most important fashion accessory of all: your hair.

If there is a place to see the latest in hairstyles, it's Hollywood. Celebrities gracing the covers of magazines often sport the latest trends in winter hairstyles. According to Dawn Visco, a receptionist at the Hair Color Experts Salon in Brick, said this winter the Katie Holmes short bob is the most popular hairstyle for women.

"During the cold winter months people are always coming in for new looks and extreme changes. For Valentine's Day, I would say that the stylists get the most busy when people come in for extravagant up-do's when they have important places to go for the night," Visco said.
