For women, jewelry has always been a sure-fire present for Valentine's Day, among the most memorable and widely appreciated gift to receive.
As they do every year, this Valentine's Day men throughout the world will storm into stores searching for the best piece of jewelry that will help show their love to their significant others.
As Valentine's Day has become one of the biggest purchasing days of the year, most jewelers in the area are having sales and markdowns.
Whitehall Jewelers in Ocean County Mall has designed an entire catalogue of over 100 pieces of silver, gold and diamond jewelry at reduced prices.
Joann Bracco, a sales consultant at Whitehall, said this year the store employees tried their best to get their Valentine's Day catalogue out to customers as early as possible.
"I can guarantee in a week before Valentine's Day we will be completely out of these catalogues," Bracco said, adding, "We offer early layaway option plans for shoppers that do not want to wait last minute to purchase any jewelry they are confident in buying."
During the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day, heart-shaped pendants, rings and bracelets are some of the most popular items purchased for the special females in most men's lives. Many engagement rings are also bought on this day for people looking to make their relationships permanent.
Although every person's reason for buying jewelry varies, this Valentine's Day
Bracco has a piece at advice for consumers
to remember this holiday shopping season. "People that want to get the best deals, with
the biggest selection should shop early because I cannot even express how busy we will be getting in the early weeks of February."
