BIG YEAR FOR BRICK MUSTANGS BRICK - It was a big year for the Mustangs of Brick Pop Warner. From top to bottom, the organization's football teams and cheer squads upped their games and made the community proud. The Jr. Pee Wee Gold Football (above), headed by Anthony Fontana, took the title of Jersey Shore Playoff Champions for their Division, the Jr. Pee Wee Gold team (right) took 2nd Place at Jersey Shore Competition under head coach is Cathe Murphy, and that was just the start. Football Commissioner Michael DiGuilmi's team took the Undefeated Jersey Shore Champions in the Jr. Midget Division, Tina Certo's first year as Cheer Commissioner has sent three teams to Nationals with the Jr. Midgets Small Intermediate Division taking the highest title of 1st Place National Champions, and the Pee Wee Gold Large Intermediate has taken the 1st runner up position and the Midgets taking 4th in the nation, among other success stories. That has added up to a big year for Brick's littlest all-stars.
