THE JERSEY SHORE: SPREADING THE WORD
NEW YORK - Representatives from Ocean County staffed the Shore Region tourism booth at the annual NY Times Travel Show, Sunday at the Javits Center in New York City. Discussing vacation opportunities with show attendees were, from left, Cheryl Raley, owner of the Charlroy Hotel in Seaside Park, representing Summer in the Park, and Kim Fleischer, Toms River and Lindsay Dandeo of Pt. Pleasant who represented the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the Tourism Advisory Council. More than 1,000 information packets were distributed to interested vacationers in addition to regional brochures and mini- beach balls. The Shore Region is comprised of members from the Ocean and Monmouth counties tourism industry. The booth was provided by the New Jersey Office of Travel and Tourism.
