REST, RELAX AND RECYCLE

OCEAN COUNTY - Ocean County Freeholder James F. Lacey, along with Assistant Commissioner Amy Cradic of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, natural and historic resources, and Mark Pitchell, superintendent of Island Beach State Park, provide helping hands in making certain recyclables are disposed of properly in a recycling igloo at Island Beach State Park.

Lacey, Cradic and Pitchell are urging and encouraging residents and visitors alike to remember to recycle while on vacation in Ocean County, using bins like the big green igloos while spending time at area beaches, parks and other recreational venues. "Vacation time is time set aside to rest and relax," said Freeholder Lacey. "But we encourage everyone to remember our third R - recycle. There is no vacation from protecting our environment."
