| BRICK - Parents for the Arts (PFTA) brought us back in time with their summer production "Welcome to the 60's." Local children ages 4 to 18 entertained the sold out audience with songs, skits and dance numbers reminiscent of the '60s. Dressed in mod outfits and go-go boots, to hippie tie dye and bell bottoms, the cast sang number one hits such as "Yesterday," "The Leader of the Pack," "Stop in the Name of Love" and many more. The cast danced with their wild tie dye shirts and colorful glasses. Even the audience came dressed in their best '60s apparel! A good time was had by all!
Parents for the Arts produce three variety shows each year, giving our local talented children the opportunity to shine. Their next show will be in December featuring PFTA Favorite Holiday Songs. All children 6 to 18 are invited to participate. For more information on future shows, photos and upcoming performances, please visit their Web site at http://home.comcast.net/~parentsforthearts or call Val at 732-458-8918.
