Monsignor Donovan Students Win Photography Contest
TOMS RIVER - Several Monsignor Donovan High School students were winners in the 2008 High School Student Photography Competition sponsored by the Ocean County Camera Club.
Devon Henderson, a junior of Bayville, was a multiple winner for her photos "9/11 Tribute in Lights," which won second place in the photographer's choice category, and Amber Light, which placed third in the architecture category. Sixteen of her photos were noted as honorable mention.
Honorable mentions were also awarded to seniors Katlin Catapano of Toms River (six photos) and Katie Cooper of Manchester (two photos). In addition, junior Veronica Lubsen of Toms River received an honorable mention for a photo and Alyssa Lindenbaum, a freshman from Brick, was recognized for two of her photos.
The Photography Club advisor is Mrs. Florence Bush.
Monsignor Donovan High School is Ocean County's Catholic high school located at 711 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
