Coastal Jersey Parrot Head Club Announces May Events
BRICK - In addition to looking forward to Jimmy Buffet's concert tour 2008, The Year of Still Here, CJPHC has a lot of local fun and events planned in the next few months. On May 17 at Pine Park in Lakewood, a CJPHC team will join with the Arc of Ocean County at the Step Up for the Arc Walkathon. The Arc serves children and adults with developmental disabilities and provides many programs, including a primary medical facility in Toms River. CJPHC proudly presents their Fifth Annual Feeding Frenzy Birthday Bash at the Sawmill Cafes Green Room in Seaside Park on June 1 from 1 to 6 p.m. All tickets are $55 if not sold out. This is a benefit for ovarian cancer research in conjunction with the Cancer Institute of NJ. Entertainment will be provided by Jimmy and the Parrots and DJ Jeff Allen. A complete hot buffet with soda, coffee and tea is included in the ticket cost, and a cash bar will be available.
