Ancient Order Of Hibernians To Hold Irish Festival
TOMS RIVER - The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Reverend William J. Clifford Division One of Ocean County, is holding its 15th Annual Irish Festival at Veteran's Park in Berkeley Township on May 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. As is the custom, Msgr. Sean Flynn, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Toms River, will celebrate a Mass in Gaelic at 9 a.m. at the main pavilion.
The festival is a great way to promote Irish culture with traditional music singing and dancing. There will be dance bands, bagpipe bands and Irish step dancers to entertain. In addition, there will be over 60 Irish gift and craft vendors and a food and beer court. It will be a great day for family fun, and best of all, the admission is free.
