Saint Vincent De Paul Society Hosts Event
LAKEWOOD - The Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) of St. Mary of the Lake and Holy Family Church is hosting a Night at the Races on June 14 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Holy Family School in Lakewood.
All proceeds benefit SVDP, a non-profit organization committed to helping the homeless and poor in Ocean County. Their food pantry serves approximately 150 families each month, regardless of religious affiliation. They also provide emergency rental and utility assistance to those in need.
Tickets are $50 per person and include $25 worth of betting bucks, food, beverage and dessert. Please call 732-920-4155, and ask for Pete. Take advantage of the early bird special. Buy two tickets, and receive 10 percent off now through May 15.
