Ninth Annual Tom Giannattasio Memorial Golf Outing To Be Held
BRICK - The Ninth Annual Tom Giannattasio Jr. Memorial Golf Outing, sponsored by Pioneer Hose Fire Company No. 1, will be held on June 23 (rain or shine) at Battleground Country Club in Manalapan.
The tee time is 2 p.m. (shotgun-scramble start). The cost is $140 per player, which includes green fees, cart, driving range, lunch, refreshments, dinner and awards. Registration and lunch will begin at noon, and lunch will be provided by Shore Catering. George's Place of Brick will provide the dinner that will be served at the golf course immediately following golf.
The purpose of this fund is to raise money to financially assist all firefightersand EMS personnel at their time of need because of medical conditions. This fundraiser is their main source that they have to create revenue to help those that help them. This fund is equally dedicated to financially assist heart transplant patients and educating the public on organ and tissue donation. The fund also awards a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior of Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School in memory of Tom Jr. All of the funds raised from this event will help support these efforts.
